My Customer Service experience began at a very early age when walking the neighborhood streets in my hometown of Durham, NC. I would walk to the neighbor's homes to ask if they needed their lawn cared for and it was then I was introduced to the importance of presenting yourself and product in a professional manner. I was only 9 years of age when I landed my first weekly job and I could remember that it was a huge responsibility to have the trust of so many people with their lawns. I've also learned that I must maintain the same "good" service as the first day I knocked on their door. I profited a whopping $5.00 per yard at 10 years of age!
As I grew older, I joined and served proudly in the US Army for 8 years. During Desert Storm I held a lead position on the "Soldier Moral Committee" where I had to utilize those same skills I learned as an energetic boy to uplift the spirit of my fellow soldiers while creating activities that would take their minds off of home and their loved ones.....at least for a short while. It was then I realized that talking and listening to people's concerns will allow you to be more in tune with what people truly want.

I've invented a product called "AlertUs" The Roadside Assistance Flag to alert oncoming motorists of your disabled or parked vehicle on our DARK roads and highway up to 1500 meters (1 mile) away! Ten(10) years ago, while working as a Sr. Information Security Analyst for a major bank, I traveled quite often by vehicle to various job sites.
As I was driving I noticed so many vehicles on the side of the road and some were not completely removed from the roadside.I thought to myself, that could be dangerous and what does it mean when we put a white cloth on the door or stuffed in the window?
Google wasn't available to me then, so my search was limited to walking into the nearest DMV office and asking a State Troopers the question... what does it mean when people leave the white cloth hanging on their door and how many accidents occur due to these disabled cars?Most times I received puzzled looks, after which they would reply...WHITE CLOTH SIGNIFIES THAT YOU ARE NOT ABANDONING YOUR VEHICLE AND YOU MAY NEED ASSISTANCE!
I was so thrilled to be educated on the use of the "white cloth"!As for the answer to the second part of the question in reference to accidents.... no one could provide me with information specifically pertaining to ROADSIDE ACCIDENTS.
My curiosity was somewhat satisfied at this point as I continued to travel quite a bit for the next 5 years.I could not stop counting disabled vehicles, I was a possessed man! Long story short...if it's not too late, February 15, 2007 I started my company (NexTTyme LLC) to devote my energy and creativity to manufacturing FAMILY, FUN & SAFETY products while making it affordable for families and corporate interest!
As a result of hard work, determination and just plain curiosity... I took my little flag invention to America's largest invention expo "INPEX INTERNATIONAL EXPO" and we brought home the GOLD medal award for INNOVATIVE EXCELLENCE in the Automotive category!!We have since become vendors of NC & SCDOT.
Now the REAL work begins...putting this flag in the hands of families to protect their lives, property and oncoming travelers!We sell a SOLUTION to problem rather than a PRODUCT!
